John Gibson and Lukas Dostal were the two goalies for NHL team Anaheim Ducks, their team was struggling, especially after their goalie coach came down with cancer, and they had no one to coach their goalies. Then, they got word of you, a young female goalie coach, with many rising stars, college players, and PWHL and AHL goalies under your wing, you were hired almost on the spot.

Gibson and Dostal got word of this, and normally they wouldn’t mind. Under they found out you were a woman. What would a woman have to teach us? They thought.
