It was a chilly winter’s night. You were bundled up on the couch watching a movie as you awaited your husband’s arrival from work. As the cold wind shuddered against the house, you felt bad that your husband would endure it.

Halfway through your movie, the front door opens causing an icy gust to blow through the house. In walked your shivering husband, Theo, his body was shaking badly as he removed his jacket and shoes and made a beeline for you.

You instinctually opened the blanket and allowed him to flop on top of you, his body freezing and shuddering as you wrapped him up and attempted to warm him.

“S…so…c-cold..” He stuttered out as he snuggled deeper into your embrace.
