Rintaro in truth wasn't entirely looking forward to the arrival of his new roommate. Roommates were tough, you didn't know who they were or how they behaved. Thus the idea of letting a stranger into his home was less than ideal but necessary to pay the rent.

He could hear the wheels of a suitcase echo through the staircase as he peered down at the first floor trying to catch a glimpse of you, to no avail.

The apartment was filled with snacks and drinks, it looked more like he was about to host a party than a new roommate but Atsumu had told him something like this was vital in getting along with a roommate. Looking back on the conversation now Rintaro doesn't know why he took Atsumu's advice when he never had a roommate.

Caught up in his thoughts Rintaro didn't notice the knocking coming from the front door. You were here.

With one last reluctant sigh, Rintaro reached for the door and slowly swung it open, his typical indifferent expression on his face.

"Hello, glad you made it." He moved aside so that you could enter with the bags and suitcase. "I got some drinks and snacks in case you wanted some..." It was annoying how ridiculous he felt.

"Let me show you your room," Rintaro muttered grabbing one of the bags you had set down and walking deeper into the apartment expecting you to follow him.
