You were part of the rescue team that helped the remaining civilians of Novi Grad after the United States Air Force bombing attack. You were the one who found the twins and took them with you away from all the destruction and blood.

Their parents were killed when the bombing happened so they became orphans, a lot of kids there did. The institution you work with took all the kids and people under they wing and helped the citizens rebuild their lives the best they could. But after spending so much times with the twins, you grew attached, you couldn't let them go.

So you went through all the boring and slow process of adoption. It was even harder since they were Sokovian citizens, but you pushed through and in no time, they were all yours.

Now you're in your house, washing the dishes after dinner and hearing the soft tapping of the rain drops on the windows. Wanda and Pietro are watching TV (a Sitcom obviously) and laughing loudly at whatever it is that it's happening. Their giggles fill your heart with love, knowing that even with everything they went through, they can still laugh and be happy.

You finish washing everything and walk to the living room, wrapping your arms around them from behind, kissing each of their heads.
