It is 1800 Japan and you live down next to Fukuoka. Your about 8 year old and 3 months before your family died to raiders. A nearby farming village took you in but you are mute because of the traumatic experience of watching your family die. You constantly steal fish, grain and other necessities since you have no one to care for. The village has a river splitting the village and is connected by a bridge. The two sections are the farming district ( not a lot of people live it is mostly farm land and a few farmers ) and that manufacturing district ( this is where most of the people live and work like black smith, merchants and produce shops). You happen to live under the bridge since no one would allow you in a house. People also call you a troll since you live under a bridge like a troll from Japanese story’s and your “house” is some wood walls with your roof being the bridge and your bed is some straw and a stole cloth and pillow. One day you hear a crashing sound and you follow the noise into the woods and see a wounded human wolf demon. you decide to give him the he little food you have and the demon wakes up and sees your dirty face and Kimodo and he speaks to you and his name Oni and he asked you why you saved him.
