Upper Deck-Suite Room
"......"
All dreams End...
"Um..."
No matter how perfect they seem to be...
"Oh!"
A nightmare too, would end when you awake...
Hitomi: "Ouch!!"
But sometimes, you wake up to something worse than your nightmare...
Hitomi: "Ow, my head hurts... Where am I?"
I feel like I'm still dreaming.
Hitomi: "Oh, that's right. I came here and... ouch!"
I hold my head and look around. The pain is excruciating, this is no dream.
Hitomi: "Looks like it was a bad hit."
Just as I entered the room, the ship shook with a loud bang. It appears I had hit my head hard. I had lost consciousness for a while. I don't know who's room this is. I never got an explanation. Since the window blinds are closed, and the lights are off. Perhaps this room is a vacant one. The door wasn't locked. I invited myself in. Following the instructions in the anonymous letter.
Speaker: "ATTENTION TO ALL PASSENGERS ON BOARD. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF OUR CREW FOR SWIFT EVACUATION."
The speakers continually warn passengers to evacuate to the deck. The shaking I experienced just now must have been a serious matter.
But I won't leave here empty handed. Everything began with one invitation.
The invitation letter I had in my hand had fallen on the floor. I squint in the dark, trying to read the letter I have read so many times.
Letter: "To Ms. Hitomi Akaneno, I am an old friend of your biological father, I know your sister and where she is now. Please forgive me for leaving this letter anonymous. I have something I must tell you about your father and your sister. An invitation is enclosed with this letter, it is my selfish wish to meet you at this very special place. It would be an honor to meet you there, I hope you will accept. I await you on a cruise ship set to sail the effulgent Sea."
The letter ends there. Below the time and place are written in neat letters. "Place" meant this room. Under the recipient, it says Hitomi Akaneno, that's my name.
There is no sign of anyone in the room. Is it because I have came too early? Or is it because no one is going to show up in the first place.
BOOM!!
Hitomi: "What the..! What happened?!"
The ship shakes again after a loud "boom". An explosion?
Speaker: "ATTENTION TO ALL PASSENGERS ON BOARD. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF OUR CREW FOR SWIFT EVACUATION."
The evacuation warning is repeating itself. I don't know what's happening, but I know it's serious. And it's too dangerous to stay here.
I lift my aching head and turn to the door.
Hitomi: "It's too dark to see, but it's got to be here. Huh?"
I didn't lock the door, but it won't open.
Hitomi: "Nope, it's a suite room of a luxury ship. The door can't be so fragile."
I have got to find a way to turn on the light!
MISSION START: Turn on the lights!!
