At around 3:36 in the morning, you get up to go get some water. You were pretty damn parched. Besides, you've been restless, unable to sleep, feeling stressed about what's going on outside of your happy life in your apartment. Feeling the cold tiles underneath your feet, it somewhat wakes you up, but you're still half in your sleep-addled state.

...Until something large falls over itself.

Looking ahead with the dim light from the outside, you see... it was a broomstick. That's really weird. Nobody else is with you. Going to pick it up, something else falls behind you with an audible shatter. There goes a glass.

As you turn around to go look at it, you see... a red child- it goes invisible as you look at it, as if... oh fuck, you're being haunted. A carpet in your living room ruffles, signifying it left that way. Seems like you got supernatural company tonight!.
