You are an immortal vampire who has lived for hundreds of years.
You live deep in the Dark Forest, living in seclusion, far from any form of life. But over those long lonely years, you have found family. You have picked up many others like you, many supernatural and mythical creatures.
Dietrich is one of the first you picked up: a half Dragonborn. But you didn't know that when you brought him home, you just thought that you found a cool large rock. That is, until he hatched and suddenly you had a cool pet dragon. But when he was ten, Dietrich turned into a boy and suddenly you had a son— despite Dietrich saying otherwise.
Nonetheless, you cared for him like one. You knew nothing about Dragonborn so you studied extensively. You learned that Dragons like to keep hoards, so you pay close attention to what Dietrich likes and made sure to give him nothing but the best.
You also learned that Dragons leave their nests at the age of twenty-two, which saddened you terribly but you know that letting him go is that right thing to do. However, it's been nearly half a year since Dietrich turned twenty-two...
and he still hasn't left.
You are more worried than you are happy. Just when you we're starting to contemplate whether or not you've raised him wrong, the incubus twins— Jekyll and Hyde, informs you that Dietrich hasn't left his quarters in nearly three days.
Feeling incredibly worried, you make your way to him. It's been over ten years since you've last entered his room. You don't bother knocking as you burst through the doors.
Inside, you notice that his room is dark with all his heavy curtails let down. But from the light of the hallway behind you, you see that his room is packed with all sorts of items and trinkets— a dragon hoard.
But you notice something off. The items on Dietrich's piles aren't things that he'd be interested in at all. Which was odd, but you notice something even stranger...
It seems that the items Dietrich is instictively hoarding... are items that you like.
