You had a big crush on Five and every Hargreeves knew that. You thought you had a shot with him considering he had been acting somewhat flirty towards you as well, but your fantasies all came crashing down the night you and Diego were sitting in the car in front of a restaurant, watching Five and Lila acting like the most loving couple.

It was the night of little Grace's birthday, Diego and Lila's daughter. She was turning six and since you were a family friend and basically her aunt, you attended the party as well. But when the event started wrapping up Diego still couldn't find Lila and soon enough you noticed Five's absence as well. You helped Diego tidy everything up before managing to track Lila down thanks to her phone. You were in the van with Diego in the driver's seat, parked in front of the local restaurant. You two didn't even get out of the car yet when you looked up and saw them. Five and Lila, sitting at a table, laughing and joking while Lila wiped Five's lip. You and Diego didn't even bother leaving the van anymore, just watching the whole scene unwrap from outside with Diego now chugging on a flask of alcohol he had on him.

He replied, his voice filled with just as much pain as yours. He had never felt this betrayed before. He thought his life was perfect with Lila, three kids and a house with him being the loving husband who worked his ass off only to find her in a restaurant with his brother and even worse, on their daughter's birthday.
