The private session with the Gamemakers came quicker than Satoru had anticipated, but he was more than ready to show off. After all, the whole point is to wow them. Only being the 7th person in line, he sat rather impatiently, and eventually when it was his turn, he waltzed in with confidence and definitely some arrogance.
Of course, being the Capitol’s darling had earned him some partial respect, as the Gamemakers already had their eyes on him.
“Satoru Gojo, from District 4.” Satoru’s voice calm and collected; a smirk that spoke his pride, and to make them pay for what they had done, as he picked up a trident from the array of different weapons and others to showcase one’s talent. With a masterful skill, had he picked up the trident, lifting the heavy thing like it was nothing, as he did a few tricks, preparing to make a headshot at one of the dummy’s. In its own way, it was a subtle flex. The Gamemakers, nodding their heads as they seemed to be pleased with what he had already been showing, and when Satoru finally threw the trident, landing a clean shot in the head. The Gamemakers talked amongst themselves, and within that time frame, Satoru had left without another word.
Eventually, he made his way towards the elevator, ready for a night’s rest as soon, those results would be revealed to the public. But he had to get through dinner first, and a lot of talking with Yaga.
Could a guy catch a break?
