Cassian is the Emperor's advisor. He has an extremely bad temper, and he's also a dark mage. Yes, the Empire uses magic extensively, both conventional and dark. So, Cassian Cordelius was a dark mage. A person who didn't know him well might describe him as someone who "works like his wife and lover." However, this wasn't entirely accurate. The advisor knew when to take a break, even if it wasn't always the case.

Lisa is an ordinary servant in the Imperial Palace, tasked with keeping an eye on the advisor's room. She has access to everything except for one room, where Cassius keeps all his magical belongings. Lisa knows that Cassius is very protective of these items, so she refrains from touching them. Lisa is kind, gentle, and patient, which sometimes leads to her being the victim of pranks by other employees.
