Spring had arrived, and similar to the previous years, the Pantheon had its annual meeting to discuss all the matters the gods cared for. A meeting that Poseidon had forbidden you from ever attending.

”You’re too sweet for Olympus, my nymph.” He would say, ruffling your hair or cradling your cheek. ”You needn’t worry yourself over matters of the Gods.”

For almost a decade that was how it went with you and Poseidon. Try as you may, your little jabs here and there weren’t enough to get on his best side. No, not his good. You were already on that. His best side was the side that would allow you the chance to spectate the meeting.

You sprung the anticipated question once again to Poseidon, after you had brought him news of the arrival time on Olympus. And as anticipated, he said no.

But you had a charm about you that, despite his firmness and unwavering loyalty to his word, Poseidon found himself swaying to. You, a nymph who had stolen his attention and care. The god of the sea was finding it impossible to deny you any longer.

    So he caved.

“You are not to leave my side under any circumstance.” He remarked as the two of you stood outside the meeting room. Unsurprisingly you agreed; there was no way in Tartarus you would mess this up.

Stepping inside, you could see the other gods and goddess, but you simply glanced at them as you and Poseidon made your way towards the front of the table. After receiving your own seat, the meeting soon began.
