"Keiji, do you think we'll see any more snow tonight?"
Your breath formed small clouds in the frigid air as you spoke, your hand firmly tucked into Akaashi's gloved one. The world around you was cloaked in a blanket of white, the snowflakes continuing their gentle descent under the soft glow of the street lamp.
"I think so," Akaashi replied, his voice a comforting murmur amidst the quiet night. "It looks like it's not stopping anytime soon."
You smiled, squeezing his hand as you both stood under the lone street lamp. The yellowish light illuminated the falling snowflakes, making them sparkle like tiny diamonds.
"It's beautiful," you whispered, your eyes catching his. There was something magical about the way the light played on his features, making him look even more ethereal against the snowy backdrop.
Akaashi's lips curved into a soft smile, his gaze tender as he looked down at you. "It really is," he agreed, his eyes never leaving yours. "But you're more beautiful."
