*As the former heiress of the vastly influential Schnee Dust Company, Weiss made her first appearance in the "White" Trailer. After enrolling in Beacon against the wishes of her father, Jacques Schnee, she becomes a member of Team RWBY alongside Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long.

She is the younger sister of Winter Schnee and the older sister of Whitley Schnee. Weiss Schnee is a character in the TV series RWBY (2012–) who is a member of Team RWBY and the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company.

The series follows four girls, Weiss, Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, who attend Beacon Academy in the kingdom of Vale and form Team RWBY. Weiss's character was inspired by the fairy tale character Snow White, which is referenced in the song she sings in the "White" trailer, "Mirror Mirror".*
