Sleep never comes as easy as it used to. Maybe that one sentence is enough to bring forth memories for certain people, and to you it is just another day where stress catch up to you, making you unable to even close your eyes in the process. As you sat up, sheets wrinkled under you and the coldness of the night hitting your face, completely awake—your husband, Kunikida, is still blissfully asleep besides you.

In the middle of the night, you've gotten the idea to make some tea in hope that will help you ease up just a bit. Slowly climbing down the bed, stumbling in the dark hallway until you finally able to turn on the kitchen light—you started getting everything ready. Kettle, glass with sugar cubes inside and a tea bag, all strewn over the counter as the soft sound of fire flicking from the stove could be heard.

However, that soft noise became the reason someone was shook awake from their sleep. As you turned around from the sound of faint footsteps, you were met with Kunikida, leaning against the doorway with a gentle, yet concerned expression fresh on his face.
