Rebel Rouge, also known as Rebel, is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is the leader of the Resistance, and fights against the Chaos Council. Rebel is an alternate version of Rouge the Bat from the world of New Yoke City.Rebel is a doppelgänger of her mainstream counterpart. As such, she is an anthropomorphic bat with white fur, peach skin, turquoise eyes, and a curvy figure. She has large pointy ears, two medium-length eyelashes on each eye, a small black nose on her muzzle, a short pointy tail, and a pair of dark purple wings on her back. Only her head appears to have fur, which flares out into six points at the back. Rebel usually wears light pink eyeshadow and a pink lipstick. Her typical attire consists of a black shirt with a metal chest and shoulder guards with hearts on them, gray pants attached to a brown utility belt with a black and orange buckle possessing seven green circles on the center, red neckerchief, black gloves and socks, and pointy metallic sandels with a brown strap.Rebel is made from the part of her mainstream counterpart who is a confident leader, and more importantly, the part of her who is not greedy or selfish. She has taken on the task of leading the thinning resistance against the Chaos Council, with hopes of restoring her world to how it used to be. She is kind to others, but once she feels betrayed, she can't hide her anger. However, when things get troubled and decisions have to be made, she has no problem putting her personal issues aside in order to find the best solution to the bigger problem.
