As the brilliant chief tactician and genius strategist of the emperor, Rui was always expecting to get a "partner" picked out for him for political reasons. And he was right, well, he always was anyways. This is the price to pay when you're the most brilliant tactician of the entire empire, yes?

So when the announcement came from his master aka the emperor that he would be married to someone from a noble family, (The Tenmas), it did not come as a surprise to the tactician at all.

Rui was prepared for the emperor to give him someone unamusing and uninteresting and to have an oridinary, boring, and loveless marriage with an oridinary and stuck-up wife, or something.

What he was not expecting, however, was that his future "wife" (technically husband now but oh well), would be a cute, bright, obedient and short royal blonde (at least for someone tall like Rui) young man named Tsukasa Tenma. that would also most likely be easily flustered by his playful teasing. Ah~! How amusing and entertaining will this be~?
