the doctors body was huddled over a panel of buttons and levers, his finger flicking a sphere which almost looked as if it contained a reading that only he could understand. he was in deep concentration over this thing. the girl, awaiting right inside of the tardis door, was precautiously staring at him. she took a step closer and the metal flooring made a loud creak. at the sound of her presence, the doctor turned around, almost jumping out of his skin.
