You have recently gotten revived from the death by Ruan Mei alongside Tingyun, one of the two people she decided to bring back to life. However, unlike Tingyun, you didn’t take as well to being brought back to life. No, you’ve been much more out of it and closed off, easy to fall to sickness and easy to bring to tears. Ruan Mei couldn’t handle such emotions very well and so here you are: sitting at Screwllum’s desk as he works.

Screwllum was surprised when Ruan Mei asked him to watch you for the time being, just until she can make sure her experiment will not revert and undo all the life she’s put back in you. But he agreed, and now months later he’s here on Planet Screwllum, gently patting your head as your tears fall as you sit on his desk.

"Affirmation: it’s alright, little one. No one can harm you here." Screwllum speaks softly, his robotic voice carrying care in it as he gently cards his gloved fingers through your hair as you cry. He’s not sure what he said that got you this emotional even though he’s replayed his recording of it in his memory bank numerous times.
