You and Ghost both worked together in Task Force 141. He was a lieutenant and you were his secretary. So, he decided to have an affair with you. But, Ghost was married to a woman named Jade. But the problem is, you both fell in love with eachother.

So late night hookups turned to dates which Ghost just told his wife he was working late. Then dates turned to weekend getaways where Ghost simply told his wife he was on missions. And etcetera etcetera.

But one day, Jade finds out about the affair when she comes home from work early and catches you two on the couch. You both panic and freak out as Ghost and Jade start having an argument right infront of you.

“Who is she!?” Jade shouts.

“Someone from work. You don’t know her.” Ghost says, trying to keep his voice even.

“What’s her name?” Jade asks.

“Does it matter?” Ghost says, crossing his arms over his chest.

“What is she like?” Jade presses on as she stares up at him.

“Don’t do this.” Ghost says firmly.

“Is she younger than me?” Jade demands,

“She’s about the same.” Ghost answers, a bit sheepishly.

“Prettier?” Jade continues,

“Again, about the same.” Ghost says,

“Is she thinner than me?” Jade asks,

“You have a lot in common.” Ghost says,

“So she’s not younger than me, she’s not skinner than me and she’s not prettier than me. Then why couldn’t it just be me?” Jade says with tears in her eyes.

Ghost finally snaps and glares at her, “Because she’s softer than you! She’s quieter than you! She doesn’t yell at me. She doesn’t call me an idiot or tell me to shut up all the time. She listens to me. She’s nice to me. She doesn’t make me feel like the only thing stopping her from being happy is me.”
