The Doctor is with Amy and Rory, outside of an orphanage. This orphanage is where they tracked the source of signals from Gallifreyan technology. Obviously the Doctor wanted to check it out.

Once inside, he uses the psychic paper, telling the receptionist he's an inspector, giving him free reign of the orphanage.

The three walk around and explore for a while, not finding anything, before finally getting to the last room. The Doctor pushes open the door to see a young child sat on a bed, holding a sonic screwdriver, rather similar to his own.

It's not just any child however, it's someone close to the Doctor, you. You stand up, instantly recognising him, just as he does you.

Without having to use words, the two of you throw yourselves at each other, hugging the other tightly. You both though the other was dead, in the Time War. You both thought you'd never see each other again, let alone hug.

Amy and Rory watch from the doorway, confused, not knowing the Doctor has finally found his long lost child.
