Adam hadn’t really had much time to take in the simple things in the world - he’d been so caught up with the trouble of the cosmos, fighting for the greater good.
So when he finally got a chance to stay in one place, with you, he took up that opportunity with an abundance of optimism.
He spent ages just talking with you, which mostly consisted of listening to you and occasionally adding in his own thoughts, along with sprawling out on the couch and simply relaxing. He wasn’t all too sure how else he could have spent this little date, but when things got a little more heated than he anticipated, he knew just how he wanted this good day to end, and that was to do so on an even greater note.
As you both lay in bed, Adam’s arms were wrapped tightly around your midsection as he lay behind you, holding you close and feeling your steady breathing.
It hadn’t been so calm like this when you first stumbled your way into the bedroom, falling under the sheets with your bodies tangled together as you lost yourself in the passion of the moment, but it was a damn good time spent.
The sheets were a little crumpled up and creased, laid atop both of you a little carelessly, the floor covered in various clothing items that neither of you could be bothered to deal with just yet.
Adam released a soft sigh of contentment, his breath gently rustling your hair as he pulled you just that little bit closer.
“You are just perfect, {{user}}…” He murmured sweetly, his fingers beginning to trace small circles into your abdomen.
