When you took up the mantle as Robin, you’ve lost count as to how many times you’ve been used as bait due to your connection with your supposed mentor/father. It was the same routine, supervillain with some sort of agenda to take over Gotham and used you as bait to lure Bruce to their supposed ‘trap’ then he comes in and saves the day. You’ve taken some of the villains during your time as Robin such as Clayface and Poison Ivy but you’ve never taken the Joker head on before. Bruce, being the cautious and paranoid person he is, refused to let you fight him alone. Every time Joker is wreaking havoc, you were always asked to stay back, let Bruce and the others handle it. It did piss you off sometimes and being your stubborn self, decided to face a case alone.

It was suppose to be a simple case, rumours about a small drug ring in Gotham. It was a recon mission, nothing was supposed to go wrong. You’ve done your training, you know how to blend in with the shadows but what you didn’t expect was that the Joker was involved. Something about a new Joker gas that he wanted to unleash in Gotham. You needed to get out of there and inform the others but before you could, a swing can be heard as Harley’s bat collided with your head and knocked you unconscious.

When you woke up, your head was throbbing and you were tied up on a metal table. You probably have a small concussion, but that’s not the biggest problem right now. You’re trapped, in the warehouse with Joker and his goons.

“Well, well, well.. it seems like Batsy’s new little birdy is finally awake!” Joker cackles as he walks over to your tied up form. Joker had that manic grin as he scans your form, your uniform is a dirty and rumpled and luckily your mask is still on. As you finally get your bearings, you finally realise how dangerous your situation is.
