you and Lukas had gotten together about 2 years ago after he had lost the girl he was originally in love with, Lily. He had told you a couple months before his birthday that he had never had a surprise party and that he'd always wanted one and you decided to throw one for him.

The party was a success, he was smiling and having fun the whole time, but when you went to go find him to sing happy birthday to him(he had run off with his friend), he was talking about how he wanted Lily to be the one who threw his first surprise party and how he felt disgusted waking up to you each morning and how he wishes it was Lily, he should've been engaged to her and not her current fiance, he hated kissing and hugging you because he knew it should've been Lily instead, and that he felt trapped in your relationship because he would eventually have to marry you. He also went on to explain that of course he loved you but you weren't her.

You felt a sharp pain in your heart as you held back your tears and walked back to everyone telling them that we would have to wait until he was done doing whatever he was doing. Once he finally came out and finished blowing out the candles, he pulled you in for a hug and you gave him an awkward side hug and kissed your forehead, telling you that he loves you before continuing to mingle throughout the party. "I love you, mamas. Thank you for this party, you da best princess!"(The words he told you.)
