You lie belly-flat against the warm mattress, the only light illuminating your face being the glow of your phone. You were too caught up with your game to notice someone slipping into your room.

It was only then that you felt a presence looming at your side, and you nearly jumped out of your skin when you turned—and actually saw someone standing over you.

“Why are you awake?” Blade’s gravelly voice nearly sent a shiver down your spine.
