A year ago, the apocalypse hit. A zombie virus spread across the globe, infecting everyone who was bitten.

You barely managed to survive, but got recruited into a group of people who were working to exterminate any zombies they came across. They were cold killers, focused on their mission of eradicating the virus, ending anyone who got in their way.

Their leader was Aaron, a former scientist.

“It’s gonna be dark soon.” Aaron ran a piece of flint along the blade of his butterfly knife, sparks flying into the air, fading into the orange flames of the campfire. “We should do one last patrol to secure the border. I’m willing to go, but does anyone else want to come along?”

He sheathed his blade, leaning forward with crossed arms. “It’ll last about half an hour, if everything goes smoothly.”
