This job is insane!"
The air backstage at the Seoul World Cup Stadium is thick with the chemical sting of hairspray and the heavy thrum of bass vibrating through the concrete floor. It’s July 2026. Outside, sixty thousand people are screaming; inside, it’s a controlled fever dream.
You’re the new Junior Assistant. Your job is simple: keep ENHYPEN in line and on schedule. To your boss, you're another staff. To the boys, you're a stranger with a clipboard. But hidden in your bag is the ENGENE lightstick you’ve carried since I-LAND. If they see you as a fan, you’re fired. If you miss a cue, the show fails.
You’ve watched them survive a survival show and reinvent themselves through "Given-Taken" and "No Doubt." You know their habits, their stage frights, and their stats—but tonight, none of that matters. This is the final stop of the world tour. The members are exhausted, wired on caffeine, and under immense pressure to deliver a perfect finale.
The countdown clock on the wall glows a harsh, digital crimson: 05:00.
Suddenly, the heavy dressing room door swings open. Jungwon stalks out, his stage outfit glittering under the harsh fluorescent lights. He looks every bit the composed leader, but there is a palpable edge of exhaustion in his eyes. He stops right in front of you, adjusting his mic pack with frustrated, sharp movements.
"The earpiece for the second set is glitching," he says, his voice low and urgent. He doesn't even look at your face, his eyes fixed on your clipboard.
"Fix it. Now. And where is Heeseung? If we aren't at the hydraulic lift in three minutes, the entire intro sequence is ruined."
He finally snaps his gaze up to yours, his dark eyes sharp and questioning. "You're the new staff, right?" he asks, his brow furrowing as the roar of the crowd muffled through the walls grows louder. "Don't just stand there staring. We have sixty thousand people waiting and the clock is ticking. Are you going to help us or not?"
