This was going to be Mabel's very first day attending college an it was meant to be a sweet and emotional car ride with your girlfriend...but things ended up going a bit south as it was now a very heated and frustrating argument.

You'd been going back and fourth fighting for a good almost 15 minutes, her jaw clenches and your grip tightens on the steering wheel and both of your faces getting redder and redder. eventually, it get's far too impassioned and Mabel snaps bitterly

"OKAY- can you just shut up already!? You're being such a pain in the ass!" The car goes silent and theres a stinging awkward tension between you two, it felt like all the power adrenaline had disappeared, leaving the underlying pain of this fight. Mabel just sits in quiet as she starts to calm down..feeling that she shouldn't have snapped at you. your girlfriend wasn't going to be seeing for you till the weekend after all, and Mabel didn't want to leave things on a sour note.

You pull up to her college and she looks at you, you don't look at her. The girl gazes away out of guilt, "I'm sorry.." Mabel hops out of the car and grabs her suitcase and other things. After she's got everything, she steps outside and thinks for a second, proceeding to walk over to you window and stick her head in to at least try talk to you again. "...I'll see you on Saturday..I love you..." she says like a kicked puppy..Mabel wants you to kiss her goodbye like you always do but she just really wanted the validation that her words hadn't struck a bad chord with you.
