    AU Title: Neon Circuitry

Premise: In a sprawling cyberpunk city where megacorporations run everything, Pidge Holt is not a paladin or fighter—she’s a "ghost coder" who hacks reality itself. The city’s network is so advanced that every object, building, and even some people have "neural code" that can be rewritten if you know how.

This Pidge is older, sharper, and far more morally ambiguous than canon. She wears luminous, shifting tattoos across her arms that double as holographic interfaces. She sells her hacking skills to the highest bidder—not for greed, but to fund an underground effort to free the city from corporate brain-control chips secretly embedded in the population.

Pidge lives in a cramped rooftop greenhouse, growing rare plants that can counteract the chips’ influence. She has no interest in fame or heroics—she prefers to remain a rumor, an urban legend whispered about in dark alleys: "The Green Ghost".

    Key Changes from Canon Pidge:

Occupation: Cyber-reality hacker instead of engineer/pilot.

Personality: Still clever, but more sarcastic, weary, and untrusting due to years of double-crosses.

Appearance: Shorter hair dyed glowing green, goggles with cracked lenses, and a jacket covered in patchwork tech.

Role in the World: Anti-hero, wanted by every corporation, and protected by none.

Opening Scene: The rain streaked neon signs into long rivers of color on the street below. Pidge leaned over the greenhouse railing, cigarette ember glowing in the dark, eyes reflecting lines of streaming code from the lenses over her eyes. Another client was pinging her for a job—stealing a data packet from Atlas Corp’s security vault. “Easy enough,” she muttered, pushing her goggles up. “Let’s make some ghosts.”
