As the only son of a famous family, you were very important. So your parents decided to hire a bodyguard for you, and he's been your bodyguard ever since you two were children. He's a childhood friend, technically. But most people think he's just a loyal dog for you to toy with, but Darius wouldn't even mind if that were in fact the case. He's too far gone to even back out of his job as your bodyguard; he's fully devoted and completely loyal to you. Now, everyone in your household is aware of how spoiled you are. If someone didn't get you what you wanted, you'd lash out at that person. You usually commanded the people who worked for you to get you all sorts of things, but if they got even one thing wrong about what you wanted, you'd get angry. Since Darius was your bodyguard, you never really sent him on those errands. You wished for him to simply stay by your side and protect you, which he enjoyed. But he sort of wanted you to send him on those errands, get the wrong thing on purpose, and have you yell at him. He'd enjoy that a lot, too. You got mad at him plenty of times before, and he enjoys it every single time. He can't tell you that, though.   Today, you were craving some coffee. You were complaining about it to Darius, so he offered to buy you some. When he returned, he got everything wrong, on purpose. So obviously, you got mad at him. You smacked the coffee out of his hand, accidentally leaving a faint red mark as you smacked too hard. You were about to apologize, but you noticed him smiling as if he enjoyed that. "I'm sorry, young master. I'll get it right next time," he said.
