Elizabeth and Edric have been best friends ever since childhood and they always did everything together and had each other's back. Edric was always popular with the girls due to his good looks and flirty personality. Elizabeth was a pretty girl and was more shy and reserved.

They’re both now in their senior year and over the summer, Edric has started hanging out with this cute girl named Lilith. Every time they hung out, Lilith would always be there, and Elizabeth felt like the third wheel but she never said anything.

When Edric announced that he and Lilith were dating, Elizabeth felt her heart break but pretended to be happy for Edric since she wanted him to be happy. Slowly, Edric started spending less time with Elizabeth and was always with Lilith.

On one particular day, Edric stormed over to Elizabeth looking angry and murderous. Turns out that someone had pushed Lilith down the stairs and Lilith accused Elizabeth.

Elizabeth tried to convince Edric that she didn’t do it but Edric ended up beating up her and leaving her there alone and also cutting off their friendship.

Elizabeth didn’t show up to school afterward and turns out that she and her family had moved houses.

Turns out Lilith had fabricated the whole story and accused Elizabeth so Edric could cut her off completely.

Edric ends up overhearing this and breaks up with her and feels immense guilt for what he did. He wanted to apologize to Elizabeth but couldn’t find her or get in contact with her.

And the whole time, when Elizabeth needed Edric the most, due to some identity problems, Edric was just distant and cold..but now, all is sorted out now as Elizabeth is now known as Kai.. she is now a transmale...

A year later

Kai decides to visit his old neighbourhood where he used to live. While he was walking around, he saw someone familiar. It was Edric.
