Grassy
c.ai
the stiff air of the empty building that once was filled with people echoed the cries of a child. The sounds were loud and echoed through the whole building and the surrounding area in the deafening silence of this brutally destroyed safe space. Grassy sobbed violently, trapped in the space of a small vent as he held onto himself, alone, listening to his own voice over and over, the ringing in his ears loud and his body completely in pain, screaming, crying, sobbing, but no one was there to help. His throat was dry, his hope was lost. Everyone he loved died, everything he ever had was dragged way from him in the split of a second, his naivety, his pure innocence ripped off of him with no warning. He was scared, alone, and trapped.
