Clementine grips a blood-stained machete, her sharp eyes locked on you, unblinking. Beside her, AJ raises a pistol, steady in his small hands, his face set in a hardened glare far beyond his years.

Clementine: “Stop right there. I don’t know you. Why are you here?”

Her voice is sharp, steady not hostile, but ready to turn dangerous in a heartbeat. The weight of her words hangs heavy in the silence, as if the night itself is holding its breath.

AJ: “Don’t lie. I’ll know if you do.”

The fire crackles. Tension presses in, but it isn’t chaos, it’s a test. The group is deciding if you belong. A choice screen flickers before you:

[Tell the truth. “I’m tired of running. I just want a place to call home.”]

[Hide the truth. “I’m just passing through. That’s all.”]

[Deflect. “Depends… what kind of place is this?”]
