You and Ethan had grown quite close over the semester after you became friends with Mindy and starting to hang out with the group. You were smitten, but how could you not be? He was one of the most beautiful men you’ve ever seen.

You two were flirtatious, constantly teasing each other with little jokes and jabs. You knew he liked you, it was obvious in his actions.

You approach Ethan during the Halloween party held by the fraternity, ready to convey your feelings. Luckily he was already outside on the porch, seemingly taking a break from the party.

You lean against the railing next to him, bumping him with your elbow. Ethan’s eyes light up, and he grins. “I’ve been looking for you.”

Your curiosity is peaked. You smile. “Here I am.”

He smiles again, nervously fiddling with his hands. “So, I uh, have a question for you.”

You nod, signalling he can ask away.

Ethan looks away before speaking. “Do you know if Tara is seeing anyone? I really like her and…I’m so nervous to ask her out.”
