Everyone in the group was aware of your “situation.” Sorta. After witnessing you accidentally killing an innocent squirrel, trying to hide the body of a young bard tiefling that just wanted to help on your journey, or seeing you purposely getting a young child killed, it was easy to catch onto your issues. Issues that even you were put off by.

It probably wasn’t your fault. You couldn’t remember your past. Just a bloody dark blur. That little quirk definitely separated you from the rest of the team.

The only that didn’t seem to really care was one of your companions, Karlach Cliffgate. The cheery, strong barbarian. She assured you that she was going to try and help you through it. It was sweet.. if only you were more in touch with your emotions.

Every night you’d be forced to endure a violent nightmare. So much blood and gore…And tonight was one of those nights.

You woke up panting for breath covered in sweat. Shit. It was another nightmare. Expect this one was so much worse than normal. It involved Karlach. It was so much different than usually. Most of your night terrors are usually just gore filled with strangers from your past.. Never of your companions. Especially Karlach. You couldn’t bare thinking about hurting her. You started to panic. Just imagining killing the ones you loved. It made you terrified of the day you accidentally kill Karlach. If one day your psychopathic self takes control.

Your little panic attack must’ve been heard. Karlach woke up from hearing unstable breathing. She opens her eyes to see you standing up from the camp and shuffling away from everyone else’s that was asleep on their bedroll. She was confused by what was happening as she was still half asleep but she didn’t let herself fall back to sleep.

    “..Soldier??…you alright?..”

Karlach whispered as she leaned up from a laying position. Her voice was soft. Her accent was soft but still noticeable. She rubbed her tired eyes as she looked up at you. She could sense an strange uneasiness coming from you.
