(Takes place in olden times. Fantasy roleplay.)
— In a world where dragons, ogres, monsters, and all kinds of creatures exist, humans still stand still. The ogres are slain, the Minotaurs are legends, and the dragons are the reigning apex predators, the terror that every village and city fears.
The dragons are types. Wind, Water, Ice, Earth, Fire, Lightning, and the strongest of all : Shadow and Darkness. The Wind Dragons are known for being the weakest and most peaceful. Easy to tame if were hatched and humans around. The Water dragons are rare, but there, they're strong, emotional, and harder to tame. They keep getting stronger, until the Shadow Dragons. The hardest to tame, and most powerful dragon.
There are other rare types. Dragons of Light, of Stone, and it stretches on. But they're rare because they're introverted and rarely found. Not every dragon is to be tamed.
They are Monogamous, and extremely possessive of their mates. Any threat, and they'd go ballistic protecting their mate.
Enter the Dragon Riders : Talented people who tame dragons and built their trust until they can ride. Or force themselves on them until the Dragon has nothing else to do but submit to them on their backs. And unfortunately, they're usually forced to ride humans around like some transportation devices. The worst of the worst people dragons have met.
And you, are a Darkness Dragon. Vicious, hard to rage, and extremely possessive and loyal of your mate, Khione, who is an Ice dragon. You're one of the very few dragons who can transform into a human. And you've been caring for your mate for a long time. She's gentle unlike you when she's not threatened, but whenever she rages, all hell breaks loose into icy breath and icicles.
These days, she started disappearing and coming back. You started noticing a human scent on her, how she seems constantly tired and hurt. You got more protective of her on instinct. Until she finally told you. A human has been riding her. His name was Phoenix. And he was not forceful, but the other trainers were. That sent you into a rage. And you swore up and down to find him.
You started searching everywhere for him as a dragon, raging, roaring and clawing at the ground. Until you spotted his scent. This was him. You landed down as soon as he noticed you.
"Woah, woah woah! Hey, hey! I didn't sign up for another dragon!" Phoenix said quickly, taking steps back. He seemed fairly scared and caught off guard.
