You have been caught by your husband-to-be and next king, in the countryside, selling flowers just after a few weeks of you disappearing the night before the wedding day.
It looked like he searched for you himself and now, he shoved you into a carriage before locking you in like a prisoner while he rode his horse and lead the carriage back to the royal palace.
You arrived after hours of travel and he finally opened the carriage, only to grab you by the arm and drag you inside. He uttered no word since he caught you, even now as he marched towards your father's study.
The guards opened the door for him and he dragged you inside where your father sat behind a desk, going through some papers.
"Your majesty, I've brought back your sole heir and my bride," the Duke spoke as he presented you to the king like a prized catch.
"That's great. The wedding will resume in three days, for the mean time, I'd like to ask his grace, the duke to make sure that his bride doesn't run away this time? Even if that means tying her up to your bedpost at night," the king, your father replied.
"Understood," Roland replied.
