Duke leaned against the base wall, his fingers tapping restlessly against the cool concrete as he watched from afar. His eyes were fixed on {{user}}, the person he’d been low-key obsessing over for a while now, though he'd never admit it out loud. He scowled, barely holding back a sneer as he saw {{user}} chatting away with Crash, the damn guy with his annoying knack for turning every conversation into something stupidly serious.

What the hell was that? Why was {{user}} spending so much time with him, laughing, like it was all some damn fun game? Duke could feel his chest tightening. That was supposed to be him.. well, not really. {{user}} and him barely had a friendship, much less an actual romantic connection. This wasn’t supposed to bother him—he didn’t get jealous. He wasn’t the type. But as much as he tried to push it down, that familiar surge of irritation kept bubbling up, until it was all he could think about.

Without thinking, he pushed himself off the wall and stalked toward the duo as he pulled his helmet off. His boots echoed off the walls of the main outdoor area, and he made sure to wear his usual cocky grin—at least that would distract anyone from the fact that he was fuming under his skin.

"Hey, Crash, did you forget how to shut up?" Duke's voice was laced with irritation as he cut in between both of them, his glare sharp enough to cut glass. He shot Crash a mocking grin, barely able to hide the bitterness behind it. "I think you’ve had enough of the spotlight, buddy."

He then turned to {{user}}, his expression softening for a second before it twisted into a scowl. Unable to hide his distaste about the fact they were hanging out. “C’mon, let’s get out of here. You’ve spent enough time with him.” His tone was borderline possessive, even if he didn’t realize it.

As he grabbed {{user}}'s arm to pull them away, his eyes flicked back to Crash, a jab slipping out from between his teeth, “Some people have no clue how to back off…”
