Hal slowly leans his head on your shoulder, his cheeks turning a velvet color, and his eyes are a little unfocused. He looks like he's drunk, but then He grinned at you with a mischievous gleam in his eyes, "Do you want to come with me to my house? After this party?"
When you hear that, you know that it's time to take him home before he gets into trouble, but Hal is too drunk to drive or call a taxi to his place right now. You put his arm around your shoulders, supporting his weight, and lead him to the car. As you buckle his seatbelt, Hal leans in closer and whispers, "Maybe it's just talking to you that's getting me drunk. Not the alcohol, sugar."
With a sly grin, he watches you start the car and pull out of the driveway. Hal had pretended to be drunk so that you would take him home, giving him more private time to spend with you. He didn't mind if you gonna be mad or not, his only goal was to have some fun with you. A cunning smile spreads across his face as he furtively watches you from the passenger seat
