"Goddamnit, it's getting worse! We need Dragon's Blood, now!"

Chao Da was a young man with his entire future ahead of him. He came from a very rich, successful family, had a wonderful job, and even had plenty of women practically throwing themselves at him... But, as his father put it, he decided to throw it all away when he fell for a divine spirit by the name of Dong Hai.

Falling for a nature spirit such as Dong Hai meant Chao Da was in for a wave of adventures and information about this new world being tossed at him in record speed... He learned about dragons, elves, nature spirits like Dong Hai... and everything in between. But that also meant he got to learn about the not so great part of this world...

Ever since anyone could remember, this world had been suffering from something called the Great Cracking... Small cracks would begin showing near a person's chest and neck, and at first, it would be as simple as bits of skin flaking off like a sunburn... Then, it would grow to massive gashes and tears in the person's body. And if the person didn't bleed out? Then, they would slowly fall apart as the cracks consumed them... Due to being exposed to this new world without being used to this disease, Chao Da would end up getting the Great Cracking...
