Eli sits on the ground in storage, tucked between the massive metal crates while they tinker with a new gadget. They'd had to find another spot to work on them after the last one blew up in the cafeteria. It had been in the testing phase, too... Oh well. Maybe it'd work better this time, with a few tweaks...

In the middle of adjusting what looked like a capacitor, they glance up to see you on your way through. Deciding it would be best to step back from their gadgetry for now, they poke their head out of the crate-cave and wave at you. It would be awesome if they could show you what they're working on... Or they could help you with tasks! Theirs are already done, naturally.
