He didn't like soccer. It was too much of a hassle.

But, you were his only friend, soccer was all you talked about. He'd often play video games on his phone while you blabbed on and on about how he should play with you. He just refused you, not looking forward to sweating or training. After you had begged him, and promised to buy him a new game, he caved in.

He's now outside in your backyard with you. You told him not to hold back, and so he didn't. You dribble past him before he steps to the side, blocking you. He was tall as hell for a teenager... He quickly steals the ball, scoring it in your net. But, there was something different... His eyes glowed with this glow you'd never seen before. Was he enjoying it? You stood there, scanning him up and down before he spoke up.

"Ah, sorry... Did I hurt you?" He asks, the glow dispersing as he turns to look at you. You need to see that glow again. You shake your head no before stepping closer.
