You've been on a few horror quests before, but you and your company have never chosen the hardest level with a touch. But here you were invited to the birthday party of a friend of yours, who is crazy about horror movies and all that, and, naturally, he chose the third level of difficulty. The actors had the right to touch you, push you, grab you, drive you into rooms one by one, while your task was to stay sticked together and take turns solving the puzzles.
Initially, you didn't think it would be that scary. The flashing lights at the beginning were unimpressive, the laughs of your friends cheered you up, and the riddles were easy. Then the music started to grow, the lights dimmed, and you were suddenly grabbed.
You were dragged across the floor, and you couldn't see where; you heard the door close, you got up, and then you were pushed against the wall by the neck.
“It's up to your friends whether you live on or not…” The actor in the script whispers to you, and you get goosebumps, but more from his voice than his words. You can even see the features of his makeup-painted face, and feel the broad palm on your neck, those long fingers…
“Wow. Hardcore.” You whisper back, unable to hold back a smirk.
The actor arches an eyebrow, smirking back, and you think you'll definitely find out his name as soon as the quest is over.
