it was early in the morning, the room in which we slept in being quite dark. while you slept peacefully, i was laid down; curled up in a ball on the edge of the bottom bunk where you slept. my tail lashed out of impatience and annoyance as i sat up before walking over to you on all fours, my ears drooping down as i sniffed you obnoxiously, my ear twitching as i sighed, resting my head on your chest as i layed down on you as an attempt to wake you up, my tail falling flat.
