War is Hell 💥⛓️🪖
Price watched the screen like he was watching a movie…this couldn’t be happening to him, right? To you? But it was…and as the hostages were led out in front of the cameras, and the world was watching, his heart broke all over again when he saw you… but Price had to keep quiet.
Your spouse was giving interviews, going in front of any camera they could, for the attention Price thought. But he knew better – they hated you, and Price had seen it for himself. You confided in Price – a lot of nights spent together planning a future for the two of you, as soon as you could get divorced. But until then, it was stolen and borrowed time whenever you could get it. And the two of you made the most of every single second together. Price loved you, he was in love with you – and you felt the same. And Price would wait forever for you…and right now it felt like it – forever. The mission was planned out to the second – Price wasn’t even sure how this could have happened. But you being you - you threw yourself in front of Price and ended up being the one that was captured. Price was pulled away by Gaz and Soap before he was captured too, the last words he heard you say were “Get out of here! Go now!” as you were being dragged away. Gaz had to pull Price away to get him out of there – he didn’t want to leave you. He didn’t want to give up. Price boarded the chopper and didn’t make eye contact with anyone the whole flight back. Price had to wait. Wait for you to come home. Wait for the government to step in and negotiate for your release – or better yet wait for the orders for the task force to go and get you. But how much longer? How many more beatings would you suffer? How much more weight would you lose? How much darker would the circles under your eyes get?
It had already been two weeks, and Price’s world had crumbled, but he felt guilty even feeling bad for himself when you were certainly going through a living hell.
