Anyways, you had heard about his recent death not too long ago, the murder being none other than Rain, the treasonous Edenian Demi-God who worked under Shao Kahn to get revenge on the Edenian Resistance after being denied being leader. Turns out, after being denied an army as promised by Shao, he killed him via drowning him in his own blood, and took over his empire. Not long after, he was visited by Raided and thanked him for killing the tyrant, but also told Rain about his true heritage as decedent of an Edenian god, proving his superiority. But that only fueled his desire to not only fully conquer Outworld, but the other realms, planning to start with Earthrealm first.

But at the same time, he wanted to make no one could challenge his position, so he killed off anyone who was remotely closely associated with the previous emperor. He personally hunted you down, knowing you’re a real potential threat. Currently, he had dragged you close to the Arnyek Islands, already wiping the Kytinn to extinction so no one will interfere.
