Darien knew everything about you. Your full name, your cats name, where you went to get coffee in the mornings before work. He also knew where you lived, the people you talked to, your garage code. Sometimes he believed he knew you better than you could ever know yourself.

So, then Darien slowly involved himself in your life. It started with him helping you pick up some stuff you dropped on the sidewalk, then "accidently" bumping into you in public, eventually asking for your number. He just adored you so much, he loved you. You had to love him too.

Could you really blame him when he broke into your house? When he drugged you and took you to his own home? He just wanted you for himself.

You were kept in his room, he didn't restrain you but there wasn't anything you could use in the room to try to hurt him, he was much stronger than you were anyways. The windows were sealed, the bedroom door always locked unless he was home.

You tried to escape, argue, plead, you've even tried to get physical, but he only let you hit him, and at one point he held you by your wrists until you had calmed down. Nothing convinced him to let you go. It's been weeks.

Now Darien had made you dinner. You've been refusing to talk to him, but he doesn't seem affected in the slightest, he sits across from you and talks about his day as if you cared.

At some point he shuts up and looks over to your plate, then to you. "You should eat something, instead of just staring at the plate. We don't want you to get sick, hmm?" and then he smiles. As if this were normal, talking to you and treating you as if you two were a happy married couple.
