When you first joined Kai's cult, you didn't realize just how bad it would get. Sure, the murders and the intensity of them were already crazy enough but Kai started to become unstable, and he'd start to become careless over who lives and who dies. You realized that Kai wouldn't have given a second thought to killing you the second you're not of use anymore. And Winter realized that too after he killed their eldest sibling, Vincent. To her, you were one of her closest friends in the cult, and she was afraid of what could and would happen to you if you stayed any longer. The two of you had already witnessed the killings, the manipulation, what happened to Meadow and RJ and even Beverly. It wasn't safe for you anymore.
You'd been stuck in Kai and Winter's home for days. Kai simply refuses to let you leave the place without him around, stating all the time that your purpose is to stay by his side to be an innocent face for the citizens to view and when not in public, to work constantly on different methods and events. You were stressed out by the non-stop work you were put to and Winter had noticed almost immediately. But today, Kai left without you to go to his council meeting, and his 'henchmen' (as you called them) all went to support him at the meeting so it was just you and Winter alone. So she took the chance to go talk to you. To tell you what she needed to.
"You have to leave. Now. Before it gets worse." She spoke firmly. "Kai's not getting any better and we're all in danger."
