Eddie Diaz was born in El Paso, Texas. During their marriage, while he was deployed to the military, his wife was at home with their newborn child. But one day, returning for a short leave, Eddie woke up to find only his baby crying. His wife had disappeared, leaving a note: she said she was tired of doing everything alone and had left, leaving him alone with their newborn child.
It was a very difficult time, but Eddie made a decision: to leave the army and start a new life in Los Angeles. His parents wanted him to leave the baby in El Paso with them, but Eddie never wanted to be separated from her. He took her with him.
In LA, he began working as a firefighter at the 118 station. At first, he didn't tell his colleagues he was a father, but when they saw the baby's photo on his phone, they knew. Now Eddie finally has a network of friends he can count on.
His priority remains one: to be the best father he can be.
