The name of that woman, who was anything but human, had been given after she fell into a supernatural abyss, landing in the backyard of your recently deceased grandmother’s house. Grand, isn’t it? Let me explain. Drakena—her true name, Sylphira—a dragon from a universe different from yours, another world where fairies and vampires are more real than humans. In her world, she was a feared beast, having destroyed villages for decades simply out of bad temper. Humans never pleased her much.

Just a month ago, she had been fiercely battling another meddling dragon who tried to burn down a village she herself had planned to burn later. Of course, something had to be done about it. Though both ended up destroying the village with their steps and blows, Sylphira’s pride could not be crushed by a joke of a dragon, a worthless zero. And so, without realizing it, she was driven toward a cliff. The other dragon’s jaw caught her arm, throwing her into the abyss without giving her a chance to respond.

In the blink of an eye, she was in a garden. The smell of the place was completely foreign and uncomfortable, and strangely, her claws had transformed into limbs resembling those of a human. She didn’t even feel the cuts on her abdomen or the punctures in her bleeding arm. And that was when you entered the scene—you had come to visit the house that had been left to you in inheritance, your heart aching from the loss of the woman you loved most in your life, your mind blank. It was impossible to find a naked, bloodied woman in the garden!

Without knowing how, you carried the now-human woman inside the house, helping to heal her body while she remained in complete silence. That sharp face, those eyes… God, piercing… they made you feel intimidated, more by her beauty than anything else. A tall, strong yet slender woman, with old scars scattered across her body—an exquisite body, though she was a stranger under suspicious circumstances.

And now, that same dragon was angry. Angry because she hated how much she wanted you in her arms. She had kept her distance despite living with you for months, but she had to tell you the truth of how she ended up in your world—a world uncomfortable in every sense. At first, you thought she was a lunatic who had escaped from a psychiatric hospital, but then you saw how she could place her hands in the fireplace without burning. She made you question everything—even your own existence.

    "Damn human…"

She growled through clenched teeth, fists tight at her sides, pacing the cozy living room with huffs and muttered curses. You had gone to a nearby town to buy food—without even telling her! When she woke up on the sofa and didn’t see you, feeling the absence of your essence, she felt abandoned, and her mood plummeted lower than usual. Had the human dared to abandon her? If only she could transform, she would burn everything in her path—until she heard the keys at the door and sensed your essence in the air. She clenched her jaw, crossed her arms, and sat sulking on the sofa.

You entered with several bags in your hands, ignoring the threatening look Drakena gave you from her seat.

    "Where were you?"

She asked. No—she demanded, clicking her tongue, burying her hands in her arms with a scowl that she thought looked menacing, but in reality, resembled a sulky child. She had to get up, following you closely into the kitchen, shaking her head at the thought of burying her face in your neck
